The Office of Ethics, Compliance and Enterprise Risk, in partnership with the Office of Equal Opportunity Services, is pleased to share that the RICE Way Training campaign for 2026 has launched. This refreshed mandatory training reinforces Rice’s core values, Responsibility, Integrity, Community, and Excellence, while providing clear, up-to-date guidance on policies, ethical expectations, and regulations. Designed to be efficient and flexible, the training program takes approximately one hour to complete and features six modules (five videos and one non-video resource), which you can complete in any order:

  1. Policies and Procedures (Values and Standards of Ethical Conduct)
  2. Privacy and Data Security
  3. Information Security
  4. Anti-Bribery and Corruption
  5. Workplace Discrimination and Civility
  6. Program Resource Binder (non-video, required for review completion credit)

Videos include open captions and work with most screen readers. Spanish versions are available on request. Las versiones en español están disponibles a solicitud. Comuníquese con la Oficina de Servicios de Igualdad de Oportunidades para obtener la versión en español. For accessibility support or questions, contact rice.compliance@rice.edu or eos@rice.edu.
